What kinds of jobs can my group post?

Groups can post different types of jobs based on their schedule, staffing needs, and setting. Below are the most common job types.

Child care provider jobs

Child care provider jobs, or jobs for sitters, are for general child care needs in group settings, such as:

  • Congregations needing support during services or events
  • Community groups or nonprofits running programs
  • Other group-based child care needs

Substitute jobs

Substitute jobs are designed for child care centers and schools needing substitute teaching coverage to cover instances like:

  • Planned time off
  • Last-minute callouts
  • Break times
  • Floater or assistant needs

Single jobs

Single jobs are for one specific date and time. You can request one provider or multiple providers for the specific job.

Common uses include:

  • Events
  • Single-day child care coverage
  • Single-day substitute needs
  • Last-minute needs

Recurring jobs

Recurring jobs are for ongoing or multi-day needs. You can request one provider or multiple providers for each job.

Examples include:

  • Multi-day events
  • Ongoing programs or services
  • Weekly or monthly staffing needs
  • Ongoing substitute coverage

Direct hires

Direct hire roles are for part-time, full-time, or long-term staff.

You will hire and pay this staff member directly on your group’s payroll, outside of the SitterTree platform.

Pricing varies based on your group type. To learn more about Direct Hires, schedule time with our team.
