What are service fees?

Service fees

At SitterTree, our mission is to connect communities so children are well cared for. We do this by providing a platform for parents and groups to find quality child care, offering responsive customer support, and requiring members to maintain minimum Quality Standards. Service fees allow SitterTree to operate and continually make improvements based on the needs of our growing community.

Parents

A Sitter Pass subscription gives parents unlimited access to trusted child care providers without the hassle of service fees. Sitter Pass is designed to make finding care simple, predictable, and stress-free—so you can focus on your family.

Subscriptions help us provide responsive customer support, maintain a safe and reliable platform, and keep access to quality child care simple and affordable.

Groups

The SitterTree on-demand service fee for groups—including preschools, congregations, and other organizations—is a flat rate fee based on location and charged when booking a provider through our platform. Discounts are available when groups prepurchase bookings to be used when booking future providers.

This service fee helps us operate, maintain, and improve the SitterTree platform while providing the support and technology organizations need to fill staffing and child care needs quickly and confidently. It also helps fund customer support seven days per week, platform enhancements, and the tools that make booking and managing care efficient.

In short, service fees allow us to continue building a dependable platform that connects organizations with qualified providers when they need them most.

Sitters (Service providers)

The SitterTree service fee is an 11% fee that is deducted from job payments paid to service providers through the SitterTree platform.

Service fees help us to provide responsive customer support and make improvements to the platform so sitters can leverage key features—like marketing their child care services and receiving fast payments.

In short, service fees help us grow and improve SitterTree so our community can stay fully supported.
