How do I chat with a family or group?
You can chat with families and groups once you’ve been booked for a job. Either you or the family/group can start the conversation.
To start a chat
- Select Upcoming jobs > Your job > Chat
Families and groups may message you before booking if you’ve applied to their job. You’ll be notified when you receive a new message.
Calling
Once a chat is opened, sitters and families/groups may make calls to each other within the chat. SitterTree uses masked calling, so phone numbers are not shared.
After a job ends
Chats close after a job has been paid. To reconnect, you’ll need to be booked again with the same family or group. If you have an upcoming job booked with the same family or group, the chat will remain open.
