We’re a women-owned and operated app committed to helping parents, preschools, and religious organizations find child care when they need it most. What started as a babysitter’s club in Atlanta has grown into a trusted network across the nation. But what hasn’t changed are the neighborly values SitterTree was founded on—because we believe truly great child care is rooted in community.

Gracie
Hello, my name is Gracie. I graduated from Edgewood High School and currently work full-time as a receptionist. I have several years of childcare experience, including tutoring middle school students at Amanda Church and caring for my younger cousins during family events. I also provided long-term babysitting for two young girls, ages 1 and 3, for two years while I was in high school. These experiences have helped me develop patience, responsibility, and strong communication skills.

I have several years of childcare experience including working in two different daycares with infants, toddlers and school aged children. Emma
Hello, my name is Emma Roe, and I am a 21-year-old college student currently pursuing a degree in criminal justice. I bring over five years of babysitting experience, having cared for children since 2017 in both family and private settings. A significant part of my experience comes from helping raise my younger siblings, whom I cared for from infancy through their teenage years. This has given me a strong foundation in supporting children at various developmental stages. I also have experience caring for children with different needs, including my 13-year-old brother with ADHD, which has strengthened my patience, adaptability, and ability to provide structured, attentive care. In addition, I am currently a mother to a seven-month-old baby boy. This has further deepened my understanding of child development, safety, and the importance of creating a nurturing, reliable environment. I am responsible, attentive, and genuinely passionate about working with children. I take pride in providing safe, engaging, and compassionate care, and I would be honored to support your family’s needs.

Abigail
I have multiple years of childcare experience providing consistent, dependable care for two families, both with four children from ages 1 to 10 years old. My responsibilities have included supervising daily routines, preparing and serving meals, planning activities, and managing bedtime and nap schedules. My experience caring for multiple children at ones has strengthened my ability to remain calm, organized and attentive while balancing responsibilities. I help to create a positive environment for the children by encouraging good behavior, communication, and maintaining consistent routines. Through remaining reliable and responsible, I have built strong, trusting relationships with both the kids and their families.

Vaile Altherr
Hello! My name is Vaile Altherr. I am a rising sophomore at Miami University studying Primary Education with Minors in Finance and Event Planning. I hope to become a 2nd grade teacher when I graduate. I am on the Water Polo team, and am also in a Sorority. When I am not involved with these extracurriculars, I enjoy scrapbooking and making crafts. Prior to college, I played soccer and was on a swim team. I provided swim lessons for 2-15 year-olds, and also served as a lifeguard. I am in the process of re-certifying in CPR and First Aid. I have a lot of fun ideas for craft projects as well as other at-home activities, depending on your children’s interests. I would also love to help your little ones learn how to swim! My junior and senior year of high school I had an internship with my local elementary where I worked with many diverse learners. I have my teaching assistant certification (ParaPro) from this program. I have also spent many years volunteering at my church with toddlers. I am looking forward to continuing to expand my experience with children of all ages as this is my passion. Any additional time I spend with children now will help me become a better teacher and mother one day.
