I also created weekly themed lesson plans for the 3-year-old class. I led daily circle time to review the alphabet, numbers, shapes, calendar information, weather, and themes. This position also included communicating with parents regarding their child’s development, progress, and issues. Taking care of children is the most rewarding experience. I feel children can teach us so much about life through their eyes. I can't imagine doing anything else!

I also take online certificate courses involving early childhood education so as to stay current with what is needed in the classroom - inclusion in the classroom, first aid, illness prevention etc. I have just completed several courses and have printed out certificates for each completed course.
