vKids Contract Worker – Job Description The vKids Contract Worker helps create an excellent, safe, and fun experience for kids during weekend services. This role supports classroom flow, setup and teardown, and volunteer teams while representing the heart and mission of Victory Church. Key Responsibilities Lead or assist in classrooms and ensure rooms are fully prepared before services Engage children in ministry activities while maintaining safety standards Arrive on time and communicate any scheduling changes to leadership Foster a positive, gossip-free, faith-filled environment Expectations Serve one service and attend one service on scheduled weekends Follow all policies and uphold Victory Church values Provide a two-week notice for time off and 24-hour notice for illness Maintain a Christlike attitude and model integrity in all interactions Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Active faith in Jesus Christ Experience in children’s ministry preferred Dependable, teachable, and a strong team player Dress Code Team members should wear appropriate, casual attire that reflects a clean, put-together appearance while allowing for active engagement with children. The job provides an opportunity to be part of a child care team in a church nursery during Sunday worship service on Sunday mornings for toddler and preschool children. There is typically a low child care provider: child ratio in a pleasant nursery environment. Ministry Safe training and copy of your background check is required - a link will be sent to you to complete after booking if you are not currently Ministry Safe trained. It only takes about 1 hour to complete. Must complete before job.
