What is Auto-book?
Auto-book is a setting that allows the system to automatically book child care providers for your job based on your preferences.
How it works
Auto-book regularly checks applicants and will book providers for your jobs based on your selected settings. The Auto-book setting applies across all of your jobs. You can still manually book a provider at any time before Auto-book takes action.
Rates and policies vary by provider, and you will be charged according to the Auto-booked provider’s policies. (The provider’s hourly rate will also automatically apply for California jobs.)
Auto-book is paused between 12am-7am.
Auto-book options
You can select from three different Auto-book functions. You can enable some or all of the Auto-book functions.
- Favorites: If one or more of your Favorite providers apply, the system will automatically book your top-ranked Favorite
- Alternates: If your booked provider cancels, the system will automatically book a replacement
- All providers: The system will automatically book an applicant for all of your jobs
Adjusting your Auto-book settings
- Go to Settings > Auto-book
- Toggle each Auto-book function on or off
