How can I save on processing fees?

A 3.5% processing fee is added to all credit and debit card purchases, with the exception of cancellation fees. You can avoid processing fees by using ACH bank transfer for purchases.

Understanding processing fees

  • Credit and debit card purchases incur a 3.5% processing fee
  • ACH bank transfers do not incur processing fees
  • Cancellation fees do not incur processing fees

Adding a bank account

Go to Payment > Payment methods > ACH Direct Debit > Add bank account.

1. Connecting your bank account

Follow the prompts to instantly connect using Stripe.

2. Verifying manually (optional)

Or, select Manually verify to verify your account in 1-2 business days.

3. Authorizing payments

Select Accept to authorize bank payments.

Purchasing Bookings via ACH

Go to Purchase > Bookings.

1. Select the amount

Choose how many Bookings to purchase.

2. Select payment method

Select your bank account.

3. Send a receipt

Choose a team member to receive the receipt.

4. Complete purchase

Select Complete payment.

Bookings purchased via ACH are added to your balance immediately and are ready to use to book jobs. Bookings purchased via ACH do not auto-reload. You must monitor your Bookings balance and purchase more as needed. Otherwise, your card on file will be charged a service fee per job and will incur processing fees.

Purchasing Sitter Bucks via ACH

Go to Purchase > Sitter Bucks.

1. Select the amount

Choose how much Sitter Bucks to purchase.

2. Select payment method

Select your bank account.

3. Send a receipt

Choose a team member to receive the receipt.

4. Complete purchase

Select Complete payment.

Sitter Bucks purchased via ACH take 1–5 business days to process. Once processed, they are added to your account to pay providers. You can check the status of your purchase in your Sitter Bucks balance. Sitter Bucks do not auto-reload. You must monitor your Sitter Bucks balance and purchase more as needed. Otherwise, your card on file will be charged for provider fees and will incur processing fees.
